Ken Crowley, CIAO, served on the Winnebago County Board of Review from 2001-2005 before he was elected Rockford Township Assessor and took office in 2006. He has continued to be elected and served since then, celebrating his 15th year in January 2021. With a commitment to producing accurate and equitable property assessments and providing the best customer service to taxpayers in the largest Township in Winnebago County, Ken has always been focused on staff engagement and training and has worked with the IPAI to bring education to Northern Illinois and helped consult in the creation of new classes.
Born and raised in Rockford, Ken is invested in his community, having volunteered with multiple local organizations. Ken and his wife Kim have two children, Kennedy and Kaden, and their family enjoys day trips to explore all that Illinois has to offer. Ken is a passionate musician and a member of the National British Triumph Car Club.
