All conference attendees are invited to the Welcome Happy Hour for drinks, a little nosh, and networking. Whether you have been in the assessment field for decades, or just a few months, this is a great opportunity to connect with fellow professionals from around Illinois. This social is the perfect opportunity to network and get a taste of what is to come in the following days of the State Conference. Free to attend. No reservation or ticket required.
This Luncheon will include the CIAO Association annual business meeting, where members will vote on certain topics. After the meeting, members will listen to Vincent Gray, a motivational speaker, author, and educator. Vincent is a dynamic motivational speaker, who will deliver an inspiring speech you will never forget.
You MUST be a CIAO Association member to attend, so if you haven't paid your 2023-2024 dues, you will have to do that before purchasing a ticket. You can pay your dues via the IPAI website. Ticketed Event. Ticket price $15.
The IPAI Celebration Banquet is an opportunity to commemorate the past year in property assessment, network with fellow professionals, and honor those who excel in our field. Attendees will see the Marshall Theroux Memorial Award presented, new CIAOs and CIAO advanced designation holders recognized, hear an annual update from IPAI leadership, and so much more. The Celebration Banquet is “the” event of the State Conference. Free, but reservation required.

Attend the annual luncheon meeting of the Illinois Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO). All conference attendees (including non-IAAO members) are invited to attend. Agenda items include annual update from chapter leadership, installation of new officers, report of recent conference in Boston and preview of 2023 IAAO conference in Salt Lake City.
This luncheon will also have a guest speaker. This year's guest speaker will be the IAAO Past President, Wade Patterson. He is a retired county assessor in Garfield County, Oklahoma, and was IAAO President for 2022. Come to the IL Chapter of the IAAO Luncheon to hear more from Wade Patterson! Ticketed event. Music Bingo combines two things everyone loves into one night full of fun and prizes! Here’s how it works: Every player will get 6 Bingo cards and an Answer Key for each round. Every round is a different theme (I Love the 80’s, Hit Songs, TV Theme Songs, etc.). The host will play a clip from a song and you will find the artist on your Answer Key and then mark the number on your Bingo card that is associated with that artist.
That’s it! Don’t know the artist? No problem- ask your friend or a stranger nearby. Who cares, it’s Music Bingo! It’s free to play and there are prizes for the winner of each round. You’ll have a great time hanging out with friends, singing along, and playing Bingo!
Attendees will enjoy two of Uptown Normal's best places for craft beer and wine. First, we will go to Fiala Brothers Brewery & Beer Hall for a tour of their facility and dinner! After dinner (at your own cost), we will venture over to Stave Wine Bar & Market. Stave offers the finest in wine and craft beer and is the perfect location to end the evening. Dinner and other beverage costs will be on your own. Ticketed Event. $15 per person.
