Job Summary
The Assistant General Counsel – FOIA Officer reports to the General Counsel, who also serves as the Chief Ethics Officer. The Assistant General Counsel – FOIA Officer is responsible for providing quality and efficient legal services to the Cook County Board of Review (“CCBOR”). The Assistant General Counsel - FOIA Officer will be responsible for coordinating all FOIA requests for CCBOR records in accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (“FOIA”), 5 ILCS 140/1 et seq., and other legal matters as directed by the General Counsel or the Executive Team.
