Assistant Manager of Commercial Data Collection

Reporting directly to the Manager of Data Collection, the Assistant Manager of Commercial Data Collection, in conjunction with the Manager of Data Collection, is responsible for supervising the operations and staff of the Commercial Data Collection Unit of the Cook County Assessor's Office (CCAO). The Assistant Manager's duties include assisting with the direct oversight of Commercial Data Collection employees' work performance, assignment of work, ensuring proper workflow, addressing and resolving employee concerns and questions, issuing performance evaluations, initiating disciplinary action, and ensuring the Commercial Data Collection Unit provides good customer service. Serves as the Cook County Assessor's Office's (CCAO) primary contact with Township Assessor offices and municipalities in the County of Cook as it relates to the accurate submission of permit data to the CCAO. Additional duties include providing direction and continuity in the collection of field data necessary to ensure a fair and equitable assessment for all Commercial and Special properties in Cook County.
