Course Descriptions

This in-depth 2-day course will dive into formulas, functions, formatting, and pivot tables, all using assessor-specific data. It is expected that learners registering for this course know the basic functions of Excel or attend the Excel Basics online course, as this in-person course will not cover foundational concepts. 

The course examination will be a performance-based format, where test takers will work with provided Excel datasets to perform operations covered in the course. The exam is online only.

Topics that will be discussed include:

• Using common functions and formulas in property assessment
• Working with multiple worksheets
• Applying conditional formatting
• Sorting, filtering, and using tables to better organize data
• Creating charts
• Mastering pivot tables and dynamic data analysis
