Scholarships

Scholarships

Scholarships are available to students who demonstrate a financial need. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis and are first come, first served. Scholarship availability resets in the late fall of each year in advance of the opening of course registrations for the following year. All scholarships are provided in the form of course vouchers for IPAI classes. Limited availability.

Qualifying Course Scholarships:

  • IPAI Leo Haas Qualifying Scholarship (1 available)
  • Illinois Assessors Association Qualifying Scholarship - must be filling a township assessor vacancy (1 available)
  • County Assessment Officers Association Qualifying Scholarship - must be a county employee (1 available)

Continuing Education (CE) Course Scholarships:

  • IPAI Leo Haas Continuing Education Scholarship (1 available)
  • Illinois Assessors Association Continuing Education Scholarship - must be filling a township assessor vacancy (1 available)
  • County Assessment Officers Association Continuing Education Scholarship - must be a county employee (1 available)
  • CIAO Association Continuing Education Course Scholarship - must be a CIAO Association member (2 available)

Demonstration of Financial Need

All scholarship applicants must provide documentation to demonstrate financial need as part of the application process. Documentation should be at least one of the following:

  1. A copy of the assessment jurisdiction's operating budget
  2. A letter from your township assessor, township board, township supervisor, county CCAO, county board chair, etc. detailing the need for a scholarship
