2019 is going to be a great year for the IPAI! We are especially excited for our two upcoming weeklong conferences:
 
Our Spring Conference kicks off one month from tomorrow. See the section below for details on special events taking place throughout the conference. One exciting addition to this year's Spring Conference is the IAAO Cadastral Mapping Workshop 650. This two-day training introduces assessment mapping and related information. It covers the functions and types of assessment maps, mapping techniques, methods of conveying property rights, base maps, land description systems, work maps, parcel identification, mapping system maintenance, and the use of computers in mapping. Practical exercises illustrate the mapping procedures described in the text. This workshop includes an exam.
 
The first week of August is our Northeast Conference. We have expanded this to a full week of training to meet the needs of assessment and GIS professionals in Cook and the collar counties. We will be back at the campus of NIU-Naperville. This is a great location with local hotels and restaurants within walking distance of the venue. Four classes will be offered on Monday & Tuesday, and four different classes will begin on Wednesday & Thursday, with testing available on Wednesday & Friday morning.
