After many months of work, the IPAI is announcing that a major overhaul of our scholarship program is complete. As you know, some jurisdictions lack the funds to provide students with all their needed training. The IPAI is committed to providing a path for those students to maintain their required continuing education and CIAO.
To accomplish this scholarship revamp, we have worked closely with the Illinois Assessors Association, County Assessment Officers Association, and CIAO Association. Together, our four organizations are committing to provide annual funding for eight scholarships to students who demonstrate financial need.
The scholarships will be granted in the form of course vouchers for IPAI classes and will be awarded in the late autumn before our course schedule for the following year is published. It is our hope that this will best position students who need a scholarship to be able to enroll in the courses best suited to them before those courses are full.
