As 2025 comes to a close, the Illinois Property Assessment Institute would like to take a moment to express our appreciation and thanks to the assessment community we are privileged to serve. Whether you are a CIAO Candidate, CIAO designation holder, property tax professional, or play another critical role in assessment, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve as a resource for the important work you do.

This year brought notable progress:

• A successful State Conference and regional workshops that strengthened connections across Illinois.
• A sold-out Assessor Night at Busch Stadium.
• New and updated courses—including work toward an expanded Income Approach series and a revised Introduction to the Income Approach—to better reflect current best practices.
• Reworking our Advanced Designations, which we are excited to launch on January 7, 2026.
• Continued collaboration with industry partners to enhance training, technology, and attendee experience.

We hope the season ahead is filled with family, friends, and a renewed spirit for the new year. Registration for 2026 courses is now open, and we look forward to seeing you at the State Conference in March.
