Joe Dauderman, CIAO, began his career in property assessments in 1985 as a data collector in Madison County. He was awarded the CIAO in 1988. He eventually worked in various positions in the County Assessors’ office for the last 36 years. In 2015 Joe was appointed the Chief County Assessment Officer in Madison County and has continued to serve being re-appointed in 2017 and 2021.
Joe currently represents Area IV on the County Assessment Officers Association (CAOA) Legislative Committee and serves on the Illinois Property Assessment Institute (IPAI) Education Committee.
Joe and Deanna, his wife of 36 years, have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. They enjoy camping with their family, traveling to dirt track races in different states (16 states so far), and anything to do with their grandchildren.
