Mark Miller was elected as the Supervisor of Assessments for Marion County in 2016 and continues to serve in that capacity, overseeing 35,000 parcels.  Mark currently serves on the Executive Committee of County Assessment Officers Association (CAOA).  Prior to assuming the position of Supervisor of Assessments, he owned a real estate agency for 26 years.  During that period, he also became an instructor for Dale Carnegie Courses where he developed a passion for public speaking and teaching. 

Mark’s focus is primarily on the qualifying courses, as well as preferential assessments and homestead exemptions.  He graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. Mark is also a commercial pilot and loves to talk about his unique flying experiences.
