Introduction to GIS
002-814 Seminar Only

The Introduction to GIS course is a 1-day seminar presented by Sidwell. The class will focus on the display, managing, analysis, processing, and presentation of geospatial and geographic data. Topics include data structures, basic functions, sources of data, and the nature and characteristics of spatial data and objects. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: This class will be interactive, and students will need to bring a laptop to the seminar in Naperville. The Rockford class will take place in a computer lab, so students will not need to bring their own laptops.
