Qualifications:

1. Can fulfill the duties for Plato Township as Assessor.
2. Appraise all the property and place a market value according to the formulas set by the Department of Revenue.
3. Manage office including hiring individuals as necessary
4. Maintain property record cards and sales information for a Township with 5500+ parcels and an assessed value of $571 million+.
5. Be able to defend assessments to the Board of Review.
6. Work with and educate the property owners on the assessment process.
7. Prepare and present and annual budget to the Township Board yearly.
