66th Annual IPAI State Conference
Thank you for agreeing to speak at the 2024 State Conference! We are so excited to include your presentation in our schedule this year.
- Each speaker is required to submit a presenter bio. Presenter bios will be read by the session moderator in order to introduce the speaker.
- Be sure to include your current title, relevant background experience, and anything else you want the session attendees to know about you.
- What you submit is what they will read word-for-word, so make sure it is just as you want it!
- Presenter bios must be submitted no later than Friday, February 23.

- Many speakers choose to share their PowerPoint presentations and/or handouts with session attendees.
- If you choose to do this, your file(s) must be uploaded (below) no later than Friday, March 29.
- It is not required for presenters to have PowerPoint presentations, but please use the State Conference-branded template below if you plan to do so.

- Breakout sessions are one hour.
- We suggest presenting for 45/50 minutes and leave 10/15 minutes at the end for Q&A from the audience.
- Attendees will be seated theater style (rows of chairs, no tables). There will be a lectern at the front and an A/V cart for you to plug in your laptop.
- Projector setup with HDMI hookup (must provide own converter if using something different from HDMI).
- Podium with mic.
- Please note: Presenters will need to bring their own laptop/tablet to connect to the Marriott's projector.
Presenters will be expected to arrive at the State Conference check-in table (entrance of conference center just off hotel lobby) 30 minutes prior to their presentation. IPAI staff will provide you with your name badge upon arrival and help you locate which room you will be presenting in.

Our friends at IAAO made a series of short animated videos that contain helpful tips and tips to help people develop their breakout session presentations. They cover everything from public speaking to putting together handouts, etc. These videos are optional, but are a great resource for any presenters that may want a few tips and tricks.
