The Illinois Property Assessment Institute is a small non-profit, but strives to provide the very best for its employees. From the house where you grew up, to the local grocery store, to your favorite bakery, those buildings and the land they are on have a value. In Illinois, that value is assigned (or assessed) by a township or county assessor. In order to hold the position of assessor, Illinois law requires that individuals hold certain credentials – that’s where we come in! The Illinois Property Assessment Institute certifies and provides continuing education to property assessors across our great state.
